Greg Karr
William G. Karr, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Dronitek Group LLC

Mr. Karr has more than 25 years of corporate and financial executive management experience that includes executive level experience in corporate financial analysis and strategic planning; organizational structure; capital raises; mergers & acquisitions; and corporate negotiations. He has extensive experience as a bank executive officer including the position of Wells Fargo Regional Vice President who managed the Commercial Banking Group that serviced the middle market lending activities for Santa Clara County and Santa Cruz markets; and President & Chief Executive Officer of a regional bank located Sacramento. He also performed duties as chief operations officer, and other executive management positions for various companies. Mr. Karr enjoys all activities with his family and is an avid sports enthusiast who is an active golfer and involved in a variety of other sports activities.

Doug Wiedman
Lead Trainer - UAS Remote Pilot, Mapping & Public Safety Courses

Mr. Wiedman is Dronitek's lead flight instructor for our Remote Pilot, Mapping and Public Safety courses. Doug holds an AS in Computer Technology, BS in Political Science, MA in International Relations, CA POST certificate, FAA Remote Pilot certificate, FLIR Level 1 sUAS certification in Thermography, as well as multiple FAA Part 107 Certificates of Wavier. In addition, he holds certificates from Pix4d as well as specific training in collision reconstruction utilizing sUAS. He is a retired Deputy Sheriff and a current law enforcement Remote Pilot with extensive experience training and developing sUAS programs for public safety and is currently a sUAS pilot instructor and Subject Matter Expert (SME) to 22 regional agencies and 4 counties including several California State agencies. He has trained hundreds of students and assisted multiple public safety agencies in developing their own training programs including night operations.

Alvin Alejandro
Lead Trainer - UAS Structure Inspector and Maintenance & Repair Courses

Mr. Alejandro possesses over 27 years of teaching experience and carries a FLIR Level 1 sUAS certification in Thermography. Alvin is also an award-winning motorcycle instructor never placing any bounds, limits, or ways to improve on anything he teaches. An expert in UAS remote sensors, he is Dronitek's lead trainer in our sUAS Structure Inspector and Maintenance & Repair Certification courses. He continually researches the latest technology and technique through theoretical concepts to real world missions. Alvin has experience in working with 3D modeling, Orthomosaics, thermal imaging and has been involved in volunteer based search and recovery missions. Alvin served in the Air Force, received the Desert Shield/Storm Service Recognition Award, holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology/Pre-Med. He is also a certified motorcycle instructor for CMSP for the past 27 years and is OSHA 30 Certified.

Nick Swartzendruber
Mr. Swartzendruber has more than 14 years and over 2000 hours of RC fixed wing and multi-rotor experience . He holds a Bachelor's degree in Marketing & Entrepreneurship and operates "Drone Cowboys" based in Northern CA that specializes in aerial cinematography and film making in the Western U.S. He co-produced the highly successful "Art of Real Estate Cinematography" series and has extensive experience in business management, electronic and mechanical aircraft setups, flight training and programming. His close ties to UAS sensor and aircraft platform manufacturers has developed business relationships as a test pilot assisting in research and development of associated mechanical and electronic systems.
Shannon Wyman
Mr. Wyman has been involved in all stages of Production Agriculture for the past 11 years, from row crop seed production to introduction of new GMO traits and crops through crop protection and seed care including planning, production execution and quality control of crop seeds such as corn, soybeans, sunflowers and alfalfa. He has prior experience in manufacturing and logistics with FedEx, Sony and Lennox. Shannon is a Navy veteran as an acoustic analysis in support of Pacific Fleet operations and exercise reconstructions. He holds both FAA Private and Remote Pilot licenses and is graduate of the University of Texas Arlington with a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems.
Ryan Gifford
Mr. Gifford is a Public Safety UAV Subject Matter Expert (SME) and holds Bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and Applied BioTech, as well as a Fire Science degree. Ryan holds a FAA Remote Pilot certificate and multiple FAA Part 107 Certificates of Waiver. He specializes in over-water UAV Search and Rescue, and payload delivery, as well as guideline, policy and program development. He is a Captain/Paramedic with one of the largest fire agencies in Sacramento, is the UAV Program Manager for that agency, and is the coordinator for the Sacramento Regional UAV Operators Group, which is comprised of over 33 regional Law and Fire agencies across 4 counties in the greater Sacramento Region, including several California State agencies. He has presented to, and trained, public safety UAV pilots across many parts of the country and has assisted multiple public safety agencies in developing their own training program. He is also a regular speaker at major UAS events around the country.
San Thach
Mr. Thach is a US Marine veteran and expert Remote Pilot who got started in the UAS industry in 2013 flying early quadcopters and spent 5 years working as a repair technician on drones and all forms of RC vehicles. San was a lead photographer shooting drone footage for Toyota’s “Ever Better” tour and has worked on various professional television commercials. He currently works with Intel’s Drone Light Show traveling to locations around the world, flying up to 900 drones simultaneously.
Gary Mathieson
Mr. Mathieson holds a Masters Degree in Education with over 27 years of teaching experience at the junior high and high school level. Gary is also a graduate of El Camino Junior College Fire Academy and has an Associate Degree in Airfield Management from the Community College of the Air Force. He has served 20 years in the USAF Reserves as a qualified Load Master on both the C-141 Star Lifter and C-17 Globe Master. He has close to 2000 hours of flying time with multiple deployments to both Iraq and Afghanistan and flew humanitarian missions to Thailand and Haiti after the devastating earthquakes. He spent a 3 year period with 4th Combat Camera and was trained as a Combat Photographer. He is currently a volunteer with the Air Force Auxiliary (Civil Air Patrol) Squadron 150 where he holds the rank of Captain and servers as an aerial photographer on search and rescue missions.
Joseph Molina
Mr. Molina is an Army veteran and currently serves as Executive Director for the Veterans Chamber of Commerce. He holds a BA degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Management with an emphasis on Human Resources. Joseph is the Co-Founder of Alliance Funding Group, a micro-enterprise that supports micro businesses with access to capital. Mr. Molina has over 13 years’ experience as a business advisor with extensive experience in business concepts, strategies, and employee leadership. He has been a faculty member since 1998 for several Universities and Community Colleges and lead instructor for the Leadership Academy at MiraCosta College, Veterans in Agriculture at Cal Poly Pomona and Marketing for Entrepreneurs at Cerritos College.
